Through several material workshops, the aesthetic and constructive properties of natural materials have been explored. Wood, clay, shells, hemp and stone are central materials. I believe in a hands-on approach to the materials, and a short distance between theory and practice. In our research we have also seeked to explore the potential of less utilised bioregional resources, such as seaweed, shells and smaller trees. In addition, an antropocene perspective on resources can enable us to explore the potential of resources we know will increase and threat biodiversity in our changing climates.
