Through several material workshops, the aesthetic and constructive properties of natural materials have been explored. Wood, clay, shells and stone are central materials. I believe we will find solutions for a building culture in need of radical change through a hands-on approach to the materials, and a short distance between theory and practice . In our diploma thesis we seeked to explore the potential of bioregional and less utilised resources, such as seaweed, shells and small trees. An antropocene perspective enables us to explore the potential of resources we know will increase and threat biodiversity in a changing climate.
